The textbook has been written as a description of a computational practice for the course of methods of mathematical modelling taught to the students of the department of physics. It may be useful for the beginners starting to learn the basics of aerodynamics after which the classical and more detailed texbooks should be studied. The calculation of the examples in the texbook are only qualitative but were based on the actual flight recorders data for the accidents with Tu-154B USSR-85311 at Uchkuduk (1985) and for Tu-154M RA-85185 at Donetsk (2006).
