The West Kootenay Regional Airport, (Castlegar Airport) (IATA: YCG, ICAO: CYCG) is a small regional airport located 2 nautical miles (3.7 km; 2.3 mi)[1] south southeast of Castlegar, British Columbia.Due to the mountainous terrain impinging on both runway approaches, there is no possibility of a straight-in approach. The instrument approaches to Castlegar are considered among the most challenging of any in use at a commercial airport in North America.
Well, let,s join the most dramatic "LOC\NDB\DME-E RWY 15" with circling approach, exactly as the real pilots do this. Sim model(plane): Dash 8 Q400 from "Majestic Software", real-time cockpit recording. On the last seconds, there is a playback from a "tower view", but because of the plane model unique FDE, all systems, sounds and visual perfomance are looking wrong during playback.
