13 июля 2002 г. днем, в простых метеорологических условиях потерпел аварию из-за ошибки экипажа при выходе на посадку.В результате чего произошло касание лопастями рулевого винта водной поверхности реки и их разрушение.Запоздалые и поспешные действия КВС по недопущению столкновения рулевого винта с водой и уменьшению вертикальной скорости привели лишь к столкновению лопастей несущего винта с хвостовой балкой вертолета и их обоюдному разрушению. Вертолет развернулся на 90е вправо и упал на правый борт в реку.
В результате авиационного происшествия никто из членов экипажа серьезных телесных повреждений не получил. Вертолет получил значительные повреждения.
К сожалению автора видео не нашел. Вырезал этот сюжет из основного фильма и решил поделиться им с народом

This plane was manufactured in 1990 so at 18 wasn't that old. The same refers to CU-T1284- they were both from 53rd batch- one of the last batches. Had they been retired ages ago, they would have been quite new, don't you think? The other remaining airworthy Il-62M is 23 years old.
