Because all models of 9-ki (mdl), this effect is not supported, though becoming, even without this check.

I've been looking at screenshots of FS-X and do not see shadows on the planes, I was this nedodel besit in FS-9, but in the FS-X is made to the shadows on the fuselage was why no one makes them? It is so realistic.
