Наверное неудивительно что утилита мало известна, потому что существует и обновляется другая, лучшая утилита SAS Planet(sasgis.ru, http://sasgis.ru/wikisasiya/). Необходимо заметить что загруженные снимки больших размеров с гугл- земля будут иметь погрешности. Также ухудшало точность и заметно плохая склейка фотоснимков на бесплатном ресурсе гугл- ерз.
