Power levers, one for each engine. These operate the same way as in any other plane you've flown. To set take-off power, move the power levers forward towards the "MAX" sign. When the sign is near the midpoint of the power handles; the engine speed is approximately 15000 RPM, which is the normal take-off setting.

Another marking worth noting is the "FEATH" symbols. When you advance the power levers beyond them, the autofeather system is activated. If at any time while the power levers are above these symbols the torque pressure drops below 40 PSI, propeller autofeather will occur. Autofeather will also happen if you move the power levers too fast so that the torque pressure has not had time to build up.

Low Stop Lever. The lowstop lever has two positions: ground and flight. The lever moves automatically to the flight position when power levers are advanced for take-off. However, the lever must be <i>manually</i> placed to the "ground" position after touchdown. This lever is also usable in the VC: Click on the white knob to move it (do not try to drag it).

High Pressure Fuel Cocks, one for each engine. Each lever has four positions (listed below from top to bottom). These levers can now be operated in the virtual cockpit view with mouse in the following manner: Place the mouse cursos on top of the red kob of the lever you want to move. Click and hold left mouse button and drag the mouse up/down (not sideways!). Moving mouse up moves the lever "up" towards the instrument panel, to the next position. It's possible to move the lever more than one position at once, so please be careful!

This position manually retracts the safety lock in the propeller, which prevents the propeller blade angle from decreasing to a flat-pitch, high-drag condition during cruise if the propeller windmills without engine power input for any reason. <BR><i><B>Note:</B> this position is referred as "Lock Out" in the checklists.</i>
