In 70-80th years of the past century, thanks to memoirs and a tremendous feature film, in the USSR there was a present cult of pilots-torpedo bombers according to which this military trade during Patriotic war was hardly probable not the most dangerous - there was an opinion that the Soviet torpedo bombers on the average lived all on three-four fighting departures that actually they were "condemned men", Russian kamikazes, and - the main thing! - that by these terrible losses torpedo bombers caused to the opponent a huge, irreplaceable loss.

Briefly, in the Great Patriotic War, all who had been at the forefront, in fact, were suicide bombers. Sometimes in battle and killed. Not funny, of course! All normal Soviet people approaching the end of the war as they could. But most of all, the cost of their lives. And this was the norm in wartime. Vipers Bay where you can and as you can! That beat: in the sky, at sea and on land. And thanks for the book!

Thank you for the book, I know that in at least shelves on IL-4 Baltic and Black Sea fleets actually applied considerable damage to the Nazis, many of the Union of Heroes came out - and whether they were "suicide bombers" - read with pleasure and learn from this book.
