Engineering fiction: For the A600 and its variants two global players could work together, Suchoi and EADS would jointly develop the hypersonic air transport of the next future.With the cumulative experience learned in the hi-class military aircraft development such project could get realised under an efficient management arrangement within a timescale of about 7 (seven) years.The development cost would be in the order of 12 Billion Ђuros and the Unit price in the range of some 220 Million Ђuros over a total production run of 200 aircraft, including some military variants.Propulsion could be water injected turbofans. Modern flight management software would take care of a very efficient schedule and fuel burn.Some 280 to 330 passengers would find a comfortable seating both in the business and the economic class.
