Recreation in FS2004 of a very rare event in Kai Tak's history; in 1996, an Air Sofia An-12 made the only ever IGS approach of a Soviet-era aircraft. Actual footage can be seen here: https://youtu.be/v31m3Z9HgRM

Do you know about new model and new sounds? Why are you using that old aircraft pack?

Try this one: https://www.avsim.su/f/fs2004-originalnie-samoleti-40/antonov-an-12bk-48239.html
And try my sounds. Don't use An-24 sounds with An-12.

Thanks. I had no idea of that new model existing, and I've already finished my Air Sofia repaint for the old one, just for the sake of this video.

As for the sounds... the An-12 pack I used here ACTUALLY CAME with AI-24 sounds, though I forgot to replace it with AI-20 sounds (yeah, even I'M guilty of breaking tradition) :P

Nevertheless, I appreciate your feedback. I'll check out your sound pack on my next An-32 flight (though that one uses the D model instead of the M one your sound pack represents).

By the way, I was done my pack only for AI-20M, the AI-20D sounds a little bit differently. Without some howling like an IL-18 on cruise thrust (in operating docs: "nominal regime" - prop's equilibrium turnovers). Try that, then respond how it works. Глеб, 5 years ago, #
