"Red 19" is adorned with the Order of Lenin and the legend "Komsomol'skaya garantiya" - Komsomol (Young Communist League) warranty [of proper maintenance]. This aircraft was a MiG-21SM, the "M" being its export version before to be superceded by the "MF". Finally, the improvments lead MiG-21MF to be also used by Soviet Air forces (These three variants [and more] were identified "Fishbed J" by NATO). For use with Ivan Jureaga MiG-21MF.
