Africa Landclass

This BGL contains replacement landclass for the entire African continent, and some outlying places - such as Southern Europe.

The new landclass is based on files from the JRC's new dataset. It has had considerable post-processing, adding a lot of variation on the original data as well as adding towns and cities from a different dataset.

Needless to say, it's a little difficult to check an entire continent - in fact, the entire planet, this is just a subset - for errors! I certainly can't guarantee that every last square kilometer is accurate. Hopefully though, the feel of the place is right.
