FSX Scenery - Aberdeen (Dyce) Airport. ********* NEW ********* VERSION 2 *********
FOR FSX BASE SCENERY ONLY (not tested with any other scenery, landclass or mesh)
This is the full scenery package, previous version **NOT** required.
This is the latest version of the recently uploaded 'ABZ2012FSX' scenery of Aberdeen Airport. Since uploading this file I have seen up to date aerial imagery of EGPD, which shows slightly different ground textures in some areas. The join of the new taxiway to the old is paved a much darker colour initially, before turning a lighter concrete colour. The new taxiway leading to rwy 16 threshold is also now more accurately depicted, with turn fillets and the square block paved dead end. Runway 36 has been repaved and is also a much darker colour. This helicopter runway has been re-marked slightly with edge markings also extending to the east side of rwy 16/34 now.
There are also different touchdown markings on both runways, which I had overlooked.
Rwy 16 is marked from threshold with 500 foot bar, touchdown zone at 1200 feet, and bars at 1500, 2000 and 2500 feet.
Rwy 34 is marked from threshold with 500 foot bar, 1000 foot bar, t.d.z. at 1300 feet, and bars at 1500 and 2000 feet.

Highly detailed airport with altered landclass, roads and buildings immediately surrounding it to more closely reflect the current environs. Latest modifications detailled above. This is a standalone installation to the previous version, users of this version simply overwite all when installing.
The main runway has recently been extended from 1829m to 1949m at the north end. This and the new link taxiway are included. Main taxiway is now named MIKE, rwy05/23=DELTA, east side=ECHO, rwy 14/32=ALPHA as in real life.
NB- Main runway touchdown markings and Helicopter runway numbers are objects from "FSX Runway Numbers And Markings" freeware add-on by Lance Tucker (RWY_MARK.ZIP) This is a quick and easy install. Helicopter runways will lack numbers without it and Main runway will have no touchdown zone markings, but scenery will work fine.
This is probably going to be the final version. I had considered it finished with the previous release, but felt I might as well update the minor things highlighted above. Any other inaccuracies let me know (I haven't been to Dyce for 7 or 8 years)

*****INSTALLATION*****
PLEASE REMOVE ALL OTHER AUTHORS SCENERIES OF ABERDEEN AIRPORT, which may well be found in the directory below if you have any.
Copy and paste all 4 'EGPD_ADEX' named files into your main FSX / Addon scenery / Scenery directory. ie these four files should then appear inside the 'scenery' directory within the addon scenery folder of your main fsx directory structure.
If you already installed 'ABZ2012FSX' simply overwrite all when asked.
You can then start FSX and go straight to Aberdeen/Dyce EGPD UK.
