Flex Calculator v0.2 for Leonardo Maddog by wims80
The calculations are based off the tables in the Operations Manual chapter 05/1.
It's simply a way to decrease the time it takes to look up the flextemps provided in the manual.
Flex temp is a technique used to reduce engine wear in by performing take-off at less than full power.
To use the flex (simplified):
1. Unguard the ART switch and place it off, don't forget to put it back to Auto after takeoff.
2. Push Assumed Temp button on ART panel and select the calulated temperature with knob. It will display in the speed FMA window with the FDs and the EPR setting will display above the EPR indicators as well.
3. Execute a normal takeoff.
