Airco DH2C (DeHavilland)

The Airco D.H.2 was Geoffrey de Havillands second design for Airco and the first of his designs to be mass produced. The D.H.2 was produced to counter the Fokker E.III Eindecker, 'The Fokker Scourge' had a syncronised machine gun and was capable of firing through its propeller arc - a technique not yet perfected by the allies.
To overcome this problem the Geoffrey de Havilland designed a pusher aeroplane so that the fixed machine gun could have a clear shot. The D.H.2 helped the British to achieve air superiority until superior fighters entered the conflict. However the D.H.2 was a very important type and today no original D.H.2 survives.

Installation and usage:
-----------------------

Unzip the files into a temp folder.
Cut and paste "Airco" folder with the subfolders into your FS2004   \aircraft folder.
