AmericanRuskie

Privet from the US!! My name is Mikhael (Mike) and I am a fan of Russian aviation. I study Russian alot and learn new word's each day. I like to go on Google earth and look at russian airports from a birds eye view. It's kinda funny because when I was looking at one airport I saw Mig's on the ground and freaked out! haha. I have a girlfriend from Russia and she has been in the US for six years. She teaches me russian and I teach her english. I would like to visit russia sometime and see how diffrent they are from the United States. I want to be able to fly in Russia on VATSIM but still have a ways to go :P

Nice to meet you Ken, I am from Dallas, Texas. It's kinda funny with our girlfriends, its like a trade. She teaches me russian I teach her english. :D I have a lot of russian aviation stuff including a Cessna 172SP manual that is in russian. I read it alot, it helps me a bit because as a pilot I know the 172 well and I have a english Cessna 172SP manual. It's almost the same. :) I can try to upload the Manual on here. I think it would be of great use to someone that flies the 172SP in FS or in real life. (well you should use the REAL pilots operating handbook for the aircraft and not just an information manual) --Sevodnya is sreda in the US :P-- (sorry don't know how to say it correctly) :(

Yes I am, I fly small aircraft like Cessna's and Piper's. I know how to repaint aircraft in FS2004 and am thinking about doing a lot of Russian GA aircraft like Cessna's. I can't find a lot of pictures of Cessna's in Russia but I found a few. :P. I hope to make a really nice HD one for the Carenado 172 and play with Photoshop in the cockpit of the 172 and make Russian label overlay's for things like knobs and switches. As the Cessna's are in English. What a lot of country's do is take printer labels and just paste there language on the English word so for example I will put a label that says "навигация" for the "Navigation Light" switch.I also want to make the panel a nice old brown one that's worn and dirty to show and give you a feel of how old the Cessna is. I am going to make the tail number placard on the panel so it will say RA-(and the number)
