Чтобы получше определить точку касания,да и топливо выработать,самолет становится легче,да и вероятность пожара при неудачной посадке становиться ниже,гореть нечему практически кроме топлива..

А сколько уже топлива необходимо для перелёта из Симферополя в Питер? Если смотреть таблицу расчёта топлива в РЛЭ , то на перелёт в 2000 км и на высоте 12100 метров потребуется 12100 кг топлива. На борту было 103 человека с багажом , тоже примерно 9-10 тонн . Пустой самолёт весит 55 тонн + 22 веса топлива, людей с багажом , не превышает ограничение, максимум 80 тонн на посадке. Тем более что при взлете и наборе высоты , Туполь сжигает больше тонны топлива за считанные минуты.
