Tu-11LL Waltz | Rating: 5!
TU-144LL (LL is a Russian abbreviation for Flying Laboratory, Russian: Letayuschaya Laboratoriya, Летающая Лаборатория)

IBP Aerospace, NASA, Rockwell and Boeing used Tu-144LL as a testbed for its High Speed Commercial Research program. In 1995, Tu-144D №77114 (with only 82 hours and 40 minutes of flight time) was taken out of storage and after extensive modification at a cost of US$350 million, designated the Tu-144LL. The aircraft made a total of 27 flights during 1996 and 1997.

Music - Waltz by Eugen Doga (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eugen_Doga), soundtrack from the film "My Affectionate and Tender Beast" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Hunting_Accident)

Ground resonance is a hazardous condition that can occur any time the rotor of a helicopter or gyroplane is turning while the aircraft is on the ground. Similar in concept to the behavior of a washing machine when the clothes are concentrated at one point during the spin cycle, ground resonance can occur with a rotorcraft when the spacing between blades becomes irregular or the damping system, including drag hinge dampers, landing gear oleo struts, or wheel tire pressure, is operating out of limits. Under extreme conditions, the initial shock can cause violent oscillations that quickly build and result in catastrophic damage of the entire airframe.

This Brazilian rescue helicopter Helibras HB-350BA Esquilo (Eurocopter AS350) fell victim to ground resonance.

Air Crew (Russian: Экипаж, translit. Ekipazh) is a movie produced by Mosfilm in 1979. It was the first catastrophe movie shot in the Soviet Union.
First part of the film tells about personal lives of the air crew, their problems and relationships. The second, dramatic part lands the Tu-154 Aeroflot airplane in city of "Bidri" located somewhere in Middle East. While taking off in the immediate proximity of the avalanche, it gets two severe damages: an airport projector is jammed in the altitude controls and the tail part is cracked. Two pilots volunteers to get out of the plane, the first one fixing the tail and the second one the rudder.
